Jonathan serves as the Design Architect of the Knowledge Center. Since 2009, he has supported Seeds of Africa Foundation to conceptualize a strategy for the Knowledge Center’s development, as well as its educational program. He has a Masters of Architecture from the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Maryland.
He has served with a non-profit firm in India designing schools, libraries, and orphanages, and worked with the United Nations in Kenya on infrastructure related policy. He has worked as a design architect with architecture firms in both Princeton, NJ, and in Chicago, IL, most recently with Skidmore, Owings, & Merrill LLP, gaining further exposure to international markets and cultures in the Middle East and in Asia.
Jonathan is deeply supportive of the idea that education is a key driver for development and social change in Zimbabwe. He firmly believes that educational investments with the coordinated input of vehicles such as technology, architecture, and good design can further lead to effective empowerment of students’ lives.
